Just wanted to say "Thanks!!" |

Hello Nathan. Just wanted to say "Thanks!!" for shipping the goods so quickly! I received the vest and knee pads yesterday.
I can't believe I've spent so much time and money with other products over the course of the year, trying to find one that actually fit right and worked comfortably with the Leatt. I had the impact vest configured and setup to work beautifully with not only my Leatt, but also a much-loved never-hit-a-DH-run-without-it Dainese BAP 200/4 kidney belt/low back protector (worn under the vest), in less than 15 minutes. I can even gear-up by myself, without have to be a contortion artist. =)
The medium was, as you guessed, the right fit for me. I think I small would have been too tight across the shoulders. I really REALLY like the removable pads in the vest. You can tailor the fit and protection exactly how YOU need it, not settle for how some designer THINKS you need it. Brilliant!
And those knee pads are fantastic as well!! They fit FAR better than my set of 661 Kyle Strait's, which they will immediately replace. I would also venture to guess that the knee cup leather covering will hold up much better than the tissue paper 661 covers the Strait's with. I usually get a good digger or three out of the Strait's before I loose the fabric off the cup and need to replace them.
So, it probably goes without saying, that I'm an extremely happy customer. :-) Thanks for providing thoughtful, well-designed, comfortable, and economical protection products. As I travel around riding and racing I'll be sure to point people your direction if they ask about the gear!
Cheers! -=bry=-

Better coverage |

I have been using the SixSixOne "Straight Jacket" Torso Protector. However, that product does not protect the medial deltoids (outside, and downward, part of the shoulder), only the very top portion of the shoulders. I have taken two bad falls since the first of the year. Both times I fell sideways and landed (mostly) on my medial deltoid. The "Straight Jacket" was worthless in both falls and my deltoid (first the right on 3/23, then the left on 5/18) were very severely bruised. I was lucky not to have broken my right shoulder on the first fall. My Skeletools impact vest coverage in these areas is far superior!
